Winter Scenery | Great Smoky Mountains

For many years, I've lived near the Great Smoky Mountains. At times, I've preferred the stark contrast of the Rockies, Alps, and Drakensberg (They're worth a Google) mountains, but there is something about the Smokies that sparks my imagination.

The vast rolling hills, stream, forests, and communities living within them spark my imagination every time I visit.

This particular visit, in November 2023, was one of my favourites. I managed to play a round of golf on a mountain (I'm not a golfer), drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway, and explore cities like Boone, NC before Hurricane Helene devastated the area.
